Pennsylvania Headquarters - At the outbreak with hard fighting the Tenth Pennsylvania advanced to the La Loma Church and constructed trenches.
Prominent in the group is the late Colonel Hawkins who was idolized by the men, he being constantly on the lookout for their welfare. Death occurred on Transport Warren, when nearing San Francisco.
